American actor, producer, and director Robert De Niro, whom we know from "The Godfather," "The Awakening," "Goodfellas" and "The Irishman," was stunned by the news that he had his seventh child. Journalists found out about it completely by accident when the celebrity was asked what it was like to be the father of six heirs.

According to ET Canada, the artist was being interviewed about the release of his new movie, "Daddy's Weekend," which is scheduled to premiere at the end of May. During the conversation, the reporter said: "I know you have six children...". De Niro, however, corrected the media woman.

"Actually, seven. I just had a baby," the actor admitted. Representatives of the star confirmed that he is indeed the father of seven children. But it is not yet known who became the mother of the baby and what gender the heir has.

"I don't like breaking laws and things like that. But sometimes you just don't have a choice. Any parent, I think, would say the same thing. You always want to do right by your child and give them the presumption of innocence, but sometimes you can't," Robert commented on parenting.

By the way, the celebrity has been married twice. He has two children - Drena (55) and Rafael (46) from his first wife Dianne Abbott, two heirs from his second wife, flight attendant Grace Hightower - Elliot (25), and Helen (11), and twin sons Aaron and Julian (27) from ex-girlfriend Tookie Smith.

Recall that in March 2022, the "Godfather" star condemned the full-scale invasion of Russia and called for increased sanctions against the occupying country: "We have to do something to stop this aggression. Seeing what's happening in Ukraine, you need to stand up and say, 'You can't do this, this is wrong. It's all very simple. It's not even about democracy, it's about what's right and what's wrong. I don't know how sanctions work and how much damage they do to Russia. It's horrible that nuclear weapons are being threatened. If they use them, there will be no one left at all.

OBOZREVATEL recently reported that British actor Daniel Radcliffe, who became famous for his starring role in the Harry Potter movie series, became a father for the first time. The 38-year-old actor's chosen Erin Darke gave him an heir at the end of April.
