"Info-gypsy" Blinovskaya, who thanked the occupiers, tried to flee Russia secretly, but was detained: what she is accused of
Russian blogger Elena Blinovskaya, who actively maintained a banned in Russia Instagram profile and thanked the occupiers for terrorism in Ukraine, tried to flee the country, but was detained by law enforcement officers on April 27. She is suspected of non-payment of taxes to the amount of 918 million rubles (415 million hryvnias).
Putinist was caught trying to cross the border with Belarus in a rental car, Meduza journalists reported. According to the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, the blogger, called " infogypsy", had bought a plane ticket in advance to distract attention (to see the photo, scroll to the end of the page).
Just a few months ago she was thanking the Russian occupiers who were killing, stealing, and raping Ukrainians, and now the Russian woman is being accused of not paying taxes, having her home searched and a criminal case opened.
It should be noted that this is not the first time such a story has shocked the Russian Instagram community. Not so long ago, famous Russian blogger Valeria Chekalina and her husband were detained for the same reason. They are currently under house arrest.
A similar story happened with Influencer Alexandra Mitroshina. All of them were popular among Ukrainian Internet users until February 24 last year. However, the bloggers did not condemn the Kremlin's terrorist policies, and continued to maintain their pages as if nothing had happened.
By the way, in February 2023 Ukrainians noticed that Blinovska spoke at a women's forum in Dubai, where she spoke on the same stage as the mother of the founder of the American companies SpaceX and Tesla, Ilon Musk. May Musk openly condemned the genocide of Ukrainians.
On February 25, 2022 Blinovskaya wrote that Russians "are not against Ukrainians," after which she began to ignore the suffering of subscribers from Ukraine.
Earlier OBOZREVATEL wrote that an activist was detained in Russia, who on March 8 went on a picket with an anti-war poster. It showed a picture of a Russian occupation troops maimed in the war against Ukraine.
