The 70s star and singer Denise Nolan married her fiancé Tom Anderson after 47 years of marriage. For the wedding, the celebrity wore an outfit in the colors of the Ukrainian flag.

The couple first met in 1977, when Denise sang with her sister in The Nolans and Tom was a drummer in the London Rooms. He played in her band after the singer started her solo career, and later it became known about the romance of her colleagues. This year, the couple finally got married on the famous Blackpool seafront in England, Metro reports.

The OK! magazine photos show the bride glowing in a beaded champagne-colored gown paired with a dazzling blue blazer and matching hat. Denise carried a yellow and white bouquet that matched Tom's boutonniere.

In a conversation with the publication, the star said that the couple wanted to get married 6 years ago because of her beloved's diagnosis of Parkinson's disease. According to the NHS, it is a progressive disorder that affects the nervous system. Nolan admitted that the couple "didn't want to wait until Tom got even worse."

Initially, the couple planned to hold a small ceremony with just the two of them and witnesses, but when the singer's sister Linda learned about their plans, she convinced them to have a bigger celebration. Denise shared that their evening was filled with dancing, the DJ played Sinatra's tracks, as well as songs from her band The Nolans' album.
