"I love Ukraine!" Eurovision winner Loreen will perform at the festival of the Russian oligarch-Putinist, where Ani Lorak was also invited

Loreen was suspected of intending to perform at the festival of a Russian Putinist

Eurovision Song Contest 2012 and 2023 winner Loreen may perform at the Dream Music Fest 2024 on the Caspian Sea, organized by pro-Putin oligarch Emin Agalarov. Among the announced artists is Ani Lorak, a traitor to Ukraine who finances the deportation of Ukrainian children.

The fact that Loreen expressed her desire to join was reported on the page of an independent Eurovision blog operating in Azerbaijan. It is worth noting that the artist did not confirm this information, and the festival's website does not yet have a corresponding announcement.

"Two-time Eurovision winner Loreen will come to Baku with a concert. Loreen is one of the singers who will perform at Dream Music Fest 2024 at Sea Breeze," the post reads, which has already been shared by Azerbaijanis in the comments.

We should add that the event will be organized by a man who has not condemned the war in Ukraine. Emin Agalarov's father, Aras Agalarov, believes that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin should rule forever, because "there is no better option for Russia."

Emin continues to work for the Kremlin, paying taxes to finance the war in Ukraine, and believes that Russian emigrant artists who have cut ties with Russia are "repenting" for their "mistakes."

He invited artists from different countries to the music festival in Baku, including Ani Lorak, who was presented as a "Russian pop diva." The French band Gipsy Kings, Canadian singer David Foster, Swedish artist Bosson, and others have also been announced.

Loreen is not among them yet, but the site, which is entirely in Russian, has announced performances by 250 artists.

Last year, Loreen outraged Ukrainians because of her ambiguous position. In public, the artist said: "I love Ukraine. I've been to Ukraine many times, I've had many shows there, I love its people. And it hurts me to see what's happening now, I'm very sorry."

However, as OBOZ.UA learned later, the winner of the competition was the only one who refused to sign the Ukrainian flag that was to be auctioned off at a charity auction.
