How Crown Princess Leonor of Spain has changed over the years

Today, October 31, Crown Princess Leonor of Spain celebrates her 19th birthday. From a young age, her parents, King Philip VI and Queen Letizia, did not hide the heiress from the public, so she is quite used to the paparazzi's lenses.

Celebrating her coming of age, the Princess of Asturias solemnly swore allegiance to the Spanish Constitution, so she can officially act as regent in her father's absence. OBOZ.UA decided to show how Her Majesty, who will become the first ruling queen of the country in the last 150 years, has changed.

Princess Leonor was born on October 31, 2005. She attended a kindergarten for children of the Spanish Royal Guard and completed her secondary education at the Santa Maria de los Rosales School near Madrid.

In 2021, the young royal entered the Atlantic College of the United World. The Princess of Asturias studied at this educational institution for three years, and her parents and younger sister Sofia came to support her at the graduation ceremony.

In August 2023, Leonor began three years of military training, which is a necessary procedure for the future duties of the Queen. The princess spent her first year in Zaragoza, and in the second year she will go to the Naval School. Her third year will be spent at the General Air Force Academy in San Javier. As you know, after graduation, Leonor will receive lieutenant's stripes in all three branches of the armed forces, and then go to university.

This summer, the Princess of Asturias completed her first year at the Army School and was promoted to second lieutenant.
