Home Alone star sentenced for assaulting girlfriend: he pleads guilty

The star of the cult movie Home Alone, Devin Ratray, who played the brother of the protagonist Buzz, was sentenced for an incident that occurred in 2021. The actor pleaded guilty to assaulting his ex-girlfriend, with whom he had a fight in a bar.

However, he was not sentenced to prison. According to TMZ, the 47-year-old American heard the verdict at a hearing via video link.

The actor was sentenced to three years of probation, and ordered to complete an intervention program for violent offenders and drug and alcohol testing.

The actor first appeared in court in February 2022 and claimed that he was not guilty of attacking his ex in a hotel room. As a reminder, the actor's ex-lover accused him of attempted murder.

According to the victim, Devin pushed her onto the bed, covered her mouth with one hand, and began to put pressure on her throat with the other, threatening to kill her. The conflict allegedly started because the girl did not take money from the star's fans for autographs.
