"He has never been our staff member": Kvartal 95 reacts to the scandal around Ruslan Khanumak

The Kvartal 95 studio has published an official reaction to the scandal around comedian Ruslan Khanumak, who left Ukraine during the war, as they had previously cooperated. The company explained that it had used the services of the scandalous Ukrainian before the full-scale war but did not hire him as a staff member.

Kvartal asked not to call the artist, who had gone to the United States to visit his son, the studio's 'star', let alone its actor. A corresponding message appeared on the comedians' official Instagram page.

"Regarding Ruslan Khanumak's action, the news of which has spread across media. We would like to note that Ruslan Khanumak has never been a full-time employee of Kvartal 95 Studio. The studio has previously worked with Ruslan as a scriptwriter, director and actor only on the basis of commissioning agreements," the company said in a statement.

As the comedians explained, all full-time employees are in Ukraine, and since 2021, Kvartal 95 has not had any civil or labor relations with Khanumak.
