Friends with Marchenko and collaborates with Putinists: the former producer of 'X-Factor,' who recently assisted the Armed Forces of Ukraine, was spotted in Belarus

Mykola Sosin collaborated with Russians in Belarus

Mykola Sosin, the former chief music producer of the STB TV channel, who resigned in 2017, was spotted working on Belarusian talent projects. In particular, this involves the X Factor Belarus, Factor.By, and Factor.By-2 shows on the pro-government Belteleradiocompany channel.

In past seasons, pro-Putin Russian artists Olga Buzova, Seryoga, Yosyp Prigozhin, and Serhii Sosedov have collaborated with the aforementioned shows. This was highlighted by Muzvar journalists.

The cynicism lies in the fact that in early summer 2022, Sosin went to charity concerts in support of Ukraine, and in the fall, he was already casting participants in Belarus for the so-called show. In fact, according to our information, he is the music producer of all three seasons of the show - X Factor Belarus, Factor.By, and Factor.By-2, because after the invasion of Ukraine, the TV channel revoked the license of the X-factor format," the investigation states.

Sosin refused to comment on the situation, claiming that he did not understand the question and wanted to "close the topic.

It is noteworthy that the Ukrainian was invited to work as a music producer for the 1 Belarus channel back in 2021. Olha Shliaher, a producer of the then X Factor, reported this to local media.

Judging by the show's behind-the-scenes footage and auditions, after Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, including across the Belarusian border, Sosin continued to work with the Russians.

In addition, according to Muzvar, he found common ground with disgraced propagandist Oksana Marchenko and wrote music for her project Pilgrimage.

Sosin is also the founder of the Ukrainian studio TataMusic, whose page was shut down in 2022. His recent posts include gratitude to artists who call for the genocide of Ukrainians.

Earlier, OBOZ.UA wrote that TV presenter Oleksii Sukhanov, who was born and raised in Russia and has been working on Ukrainian television since 2014, admitted what he did with his Russian passport when he received Ukrainian citizenship.
