For the first time in many months, Sofia Rotaru showed a fresh photo: where is the singer now

For the first time in a long time, singer Sofia Rotaru showed a new photo. On October 23, the People's Artist of Ukraine traditionally visited Baikove Cemetery in Kyiv to honor the memory of her husband, musician Anatoliy Yevdokimenko, who passed away exactly 22 years ago.

"The only one," the singer captioned her Insta-stories. In the photo, Rotaru is looking at the grave of her beloved, wearing a brown vest. As you know, the artist and Anatoliy Yevdokymenko got married on September 22, 1968, and did not part until the man's death.

The musician passed away in a hospital in Kyiv after complications from a second stroke that Yevdokymenko had suffered 2 months before the tragedy. According to Rotaru's recollections, 22 years ago she was forced to cancel her tour in Germany and return to Ukraine to support her beloved.

The producer was unconscious for a long time, but when he felt the touch of his beloved woman, he opened his eyes. The musician looked at Rotaru for a long and piercing time, and then left forever.
