"Donetsk scale": Timur Miroshnychenko tells about Yanukovych's corporate events, where "charters flew like buses"

Timur Miroshnychenko told about Yanukovych's corporate events

TV presenter Timur Miroshnychenko, 38, told what happened at the corporate parties of exiled Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych. The host called such parties, which he organized, "Donetsk scale" because they involved a considerable amount of money.

The part "Donetsk" was taken from the region where Yanukovych was born and spent his youth. In an interview with Slava Demin, Timur Miroshnychenko said that guests did not arrive at those events by land, but by air, which could have been either personal or specially booked with airlines.

Moreover, Russians were often seen as visitors. According to Timur Miroshnychenko, "Planes were flying from that country to here." According to the TV host, guests at Viktor Yanukovych's events changed every 20 minutes.

"The corporate events (held by Yanukovych – Ed.) are the ones that are not there anymore. It was always on a grand scale, and it was, you know, the 'Donetsk scale.' They paid whatever you said. Charter flights, like minibuses, fly from that country (Russia – Ed.) to here, guests change every 20 minutes. It's an interesting experience," Miroshnychenko admitted.

He also added that he has worked at corporate events where almost all six presidents of Ukraine have been present. Only Leonid Kravchuk's reign was when he was a child. "I was still small. I started with (Leonid – Ed.) Kuchma," the host said.

Timur Miroshnychenko admitted that at first, his knees were shaking before he had to speak to the top officials of Ukraine, but later he got used to it: "Today it's just a job."
