Alla Mazur's nephew died at the front

The famous Ukrainian TV presenter Alla Mazur reported tragic news: her nephew Oleksandr Seriy was killed in the fighting for Ukraine. He went to the front as a volunteer, although he had no previous military experience. On April 10 the hero was only 32 years old, and on May 16 he gave his life saving the lives of others.

On her personal Instagram page, Mazur posted pictures of her relative from the front lines. The journalist wrote a touching text about Alexander, telling how heroically he died.

The protector was the son of the TV host's cousin. "Our Sasha," Mazur pinchesly calls his nephew. The soldier passed away heroically in a battle with Russian occupiers near Chervonopopivka in the Luhansk region.

"Sasha was not a professional military man. He built houses, made roofs, helped people create their new happy world and comfort... But when he had to take up arms to defend this peaceful world and comfort - he did not hide, he joined the army. A two-meter tall handsome man, he was ready to rush to the rescue, he went to help his men that day, even though he had to go on rotation. "But the guys need help," he explained to his sister. He never returned from that battle," Mazur told me, bringing her readers to tears.

Mazur admitted that Oleksandr has never considered himself a hero, but for his family, as well as for every Ukrainian, he has been one. The journalist stressed that people like her nephew save Ukraine and the whole world today, for which she thanked our defenders.

"Sasha did not consider himself a hero, but to us he is. Because he rushed to save and support not only his brothers from the 2nd Battalion of the 25th AFU Brigade. He covered all of us. The whole family. And people like our Sasha save the whole Ukraine. So I bow low to my sister Anna, who brought up a worthy son, a real brave man. I embrace mentally and share the giant pain of all the mothers, fathers, brothers and sisters who did not wait for their loved ones from the front. I pray that Heaven protect our soldiers who remain under fire, and may God's punishment overtake those Russian killers who took the lives of our Sasha and thousands of his brothers-in-law," the TV hostess powerfully summarized.

Earlier OBOZREVATEL wrote that Alla Mazur lost another loved one. The anchorwoman's father passed away. To him she dedicated a touching text that brought Internet users to tears.
