Did Jared Leto support Russia again at a concert? What's wrong with the fake news launched by the Russians

Jared Leto allegedly supported Russia again at a concert

The American actor and singer of the band 30 Seconds to Mars, Jared Leto, allegedly "got burned" once again for supporting Russians at his concert. However, the word "allegedly" is used in this context for a reason, as it is a fake news story that was launched by his fans from Russia and spread in their media.

A video of the artist's speech was posted on Instagram by Russian Natalia Kalashnikova, who lives in the United Arab Emirates. It was she who created the subtitles, allegedly explaining what Jared Leto was saying at his concert in Dubai.

His speech at this concert reads as follows: "I'm not going to say too much because I don't want to get in trouble. I also love you guys. You know, I promise you one thing, I will definitely never forget this moment."

Only Kalashnikova provided the video, which was spliced together in two parts. It was she who added to the subtitles in brackets that everyone in the audience, especially the Russians, understood that the artist was referring to the "problems" that occurred after he confessed his love for the terrorist nation and attempted to take over several concerts in Russia.

What's wrong with the video?

If you listen to this video without reading the subtitles, it will not really be clear what problems Jared Leto was talking about, because the UAE is a country with very strict laws, where it is dangerous to say anything unnecessary (the same applies to the topics of gender and especially war). The artist did not express a direct hint or appeal to Russians and his love for them. The same goes for his declaration of love for the audience. This statement could refer to the entire audience present at the concert, not just residents of the Russian Federation.

Later, this video was spread on Russian public and Telegram channels. It was also published by one of the main Ukrainian-focused Russian showbiz outlets, Nebozhena.

"Jared Leto is in trouble because of his love for his Russian fans. He said this at a concert in Riyadh, where there were also many fans from Russia. Jared thanked them in Russian," the Russians distorted.

However, in addition to the already refuted facts about the soloist's speech, the public made another mistake. This concert took place not in Riyadh, but in Dubai. This is evidenced by the artist's completely different clothes: in Dubai, he wore a translucent shirt and camouflage pants, while in Riyadh (December 14) he wore a black shirt and a white skirt.
