Deepfake of Ukrainian blogger praising Russia and China is spreading online. Video

Ukrainian blogger Olha Loiek, who currently lives in Munich, described how her face and voice were used to spread Russian and Chinese propaganda. Her followers found dozens of accounts where Ukrainian-looking diplomats advertised goods from Russia or claimed that the friendship between Russia and China would last forever.

Loiek was shocked by the discovery, which she shared on her YouTube channel. As it turned out, each fake heroine has her own story behind her.

For example, one of them is named April. According to legend, she has been living in China for eight years. The Ukrainian clone is fluent in Chinese because she used to study at a local university.

After completing her studies, April, who is Russian, decided to stay. In her videos, she says in Olha's voice that the friendly relations between Russia and China will last forever. She also loves her "new" country of residence.

Another deepfake named Natasha is a 31-year-old Russian citizen in China who advertises Russian products. In the videos, she says that at a time when everyone has turned their backs on Russia, China remains a reliable partner.

That is why the Chinese should support the Russian economy and help their "brothers." By the way, Natasha has 140,000 followers.

Olha Loiek demonstrated dozens of such accounts. All of them are propaganda outlets. Some of the clones glorify local culture and urge Chinese to marry Russian women. "If you marry a Russian woman, she will do your laundry, cook, and wash the dishes every day," the video says, "she will also give birth to as many children as you want."
