Daryna Komarchuk, a 7-year-old girl from Kyiv, has set a new record for Ukraine as the owner of the longest hair in her age group. The length of the girl's strands is over 100 cm.

This was reported by the head of the National Register of Records of Ukraine, Lana Vietrova, on her Facebook page. It is noted that the young record holder is never going to cut her long and thick hair in her life.

"According to the rules, each subsequent record in this nomination must exceed the previous one by at least 10 percent," Vietrova explained. Last year, it was set by 5-year-old Maria Porozhniuk, whose hair was 91.5 cm long.

The record was registered in the category "Longest Children's Hair at the Age of 7". Daryna Komarchuk, who is in the second grade, is very proud of her long hair. According to the measurements, it is 103.5 cm long.
