Danish director Trier, who said that "Russian lives matter", tried to "whitewash" himself and pretend to be a victim

Danish film director Lars von Trier, who said that "Russian lives matter too" amid the news of the transfer of F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine, tried to "whitewash" his reputation. After a wave of hate, the cultural figure assured that he supported Ukraine.

Lars von Trier tried to complain that he was simply misunderstood, when in fact he had "shown integrity".

"And, of course, I wholeheartedly support Ukraine! I was simply stating the obvious: that all lives in this world matter! A forgotten phrase, it seems, from the days when pacifism was a virtue! Love, Lars," the director issued an "excuse".

Obviously, the Danish activist was not sure of the convincing nature of his explanation, so he restricted the possibility of leaving comments just in case.

However, users were not at a loss and bombarded him with posts explaining why the lives of the occupiers did not matter under other posts.

A few days ago, in a scandalous statement, the celebrity addressed the presidents of Ukraine and Russia, as well as the Prime Minister of Denmark. In fact, Trier expressed regret over the death of the Russian invaders.
