Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark was suspected of adultery: who is Genevieve Casanova and where did the rumors come from

Denmark's Crown Prince Frederik was caught in the middle of a high-profile scandal over "adultery" that was based on a simple walk in Spain with model Genevieve Kazanova. The paparazzi followed them all evening, and Spanish journalists concluded that the crown prince and his companion had arranged a date.

Frederick's walk caused a wave of indignation because at that time his wife Mary was in America on an announced visit, and her chosen one went to Madrid without announcement. The journalists found out that the prince and the model and the presenter visited the Picasso exhibition at the National Museum of Thyssen-Bornemisza, took a walk in the park, and had dinner together in the city center.

Later it became known that Frederic was supposed to spend time with a friend, but he fell ill and asked Genevieve, a lover of Picasso's work, to replace him at the meeting. Eventually, this resulted in a huge scandal, which the model had to comment on.

The former daughter-in-law of the Duchess of Alba and part-time Mexican socialite denied rumors of an "affair" with the prince and their alleged "date" and said she would defend her honor and dignity with lawyers. The prince and his wife did not comment on the scandal.

Instead, they appeared together in Copenhagen with Queen Margrethe and her sister during the Spanish rulers' state visit to Denmark. Afterward, journalists published articles saying that the lovers "presented a united front" and showed that there were no problems in their family.

As you know, in May of this year, the couple celebrated 19 years of marriage. They met in a bar in Australia in 2000, when Frederick came to the Summer Olympics, and the young beauty decided to talk to him. Only later did she find out that she had started a dialog with the Prince of Denmark.
