Comedian Andriy Luzan announces the desicion to join the Ukrainian Armed Forces in early July

Ukrainian comedian Andriy Luzan, one of the founders of the YouTube show Lions on a Jeep, decided to join the ranks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Before that, the artist went on a tour of Ukraine to enjoy its beauty and people.

He spoke about his decision on a private channel and later announced it during a stream on Twitch. Fans of the star on TikTok were upset that they would not see the comedian in the near future but praised him for his bold decision.

"My closed account is the only place where I said I would mobilize on July 6. I went on tour to have a good time before mobilization. Maybe I'm drunk, but this is my tour of Ukraine, and after it, I probably won't be able to stream and post content," said Andriy Luzan.

He emphasized that he does not condemn his colleagues who will continue to entertain Ukrainians, but he has made a different decision for himself. After returning home, the comedian plans to voluntarily join the army.

Earlier, Andriy Luzan said that singer Oleksiy Potapenko disappointed him during the war because of his months-long tour abroad. He also added that he expected more media activity from Oleh Vynnyk.

Earlier, it was reported wrote that Ukrainian musician, leader of the band Our Atlantic Viktor Baida joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Maria Ahapitova, an actress of the Lesya Ukrainka National Academic Drama Theater, made the same decision.
