The actor is raising his son with his ex-model wife Kim Bordenave. James recognizes his father, loves to play and behaves in a socialized way. His parents adore their son and help him with everything.

"Repetition, balance, his twitchy walk. When he first started feeding himself, his face resembled Jackson Pollock's paintings until the end. But he's doing great, he's feeding himself perfectly. I'm proud of him every day because I think he's just adorable," his father said.

Colin Farrell is committed to helping people who suffer from Angelman syndrome and are single after the age of 21.

This disease is characterized by mental retardation, sleep disturbances, seizures, chaotic movements (especially of the hands) and uncontrollable laughter. Because of the latter symptom, the genetic disease is sometimes called "happy doll syndrome" or "Parsley syndrome".
