Beyoncé's childhood home caught fire on Christmas Day. Video

A fire broke out in Beyoncé's childhood home

On the night of December 25, a fire broke out in a house in Houston, Texas, USA. As it turned out, the fire engulfed the house where the world-famous American singer Beyoncé grew up.

The two-story brick house was home to the star and her parents from the time she was born until she was five years old. The fire was reported by the Daily Mail.

"This is where it all started. She lived there until 1986 - the first five years of her life," Keith Rosen, who runs Houston historical tours, told reporters. In particular, Keith assured that tours to Beyoncé's house are very popular in the city.

Currently, the apartment is home to a couple and two small children. When their home went up in flames on Christmas Eve, they had to run outside in just their pajamas. Fortunately, the family escaped and no one was injured.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation, fire officials said. The property on the second floor, which was engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived, suffered the most damage.

"They did a great job. I will say that in less than 10 minutes, we had this fire under control," commented Houston Fire Chief Justin Barnes.

It should be added that Beyoncé herself, her rapper husband Jay-Z and their three children live in California in a luxurious $200 million estate overlooking the ocean.

As OBOZ.UA wrote earlier, a fire broke out in California in the house of the famous Hollywood actor Will Smith, which is estimated at $ 42 million. In addition to fire trucks, an ambulance arrived at the scene.
