After swearing about Chornomorsk, Soloviy mentioned "swearing Ukrainians". An administrative report was drawn up against the singer
Ukrainian singer Khrystyna Soloviiy commented on her scandalous statement during a performance in Chornomorsk, Odesa region. The singer swearfully mentioned the former name of the city, Ilichivsk. As it turned out, an administrative report was drawn up against the celebrity for swearing on stage.
"I will buy or accept a copy of the Ukrainian stage vocabulary as a gift. I can't find it anywhere, it's been sold out by swearing Ukrainians," the singer wrote on her Twitter page.
The post also features a photo of Soloviy in front of the Chornomorsk police station. Law enforcement officers in the Odesa region told Hromadske that a report was drawn up against the star for using foul language during her performance under Article 173 of the Code of Administrative Offenses, which provides for disorderly conduct. Now the singer faces a fine, or community service, or correctional labor with a 20% deduction of her earnings, or 15 days of administrative arrest. It all depends on the court verdict.
According to Serhii Hnezdilov, cultural manager of the Vydelkafest festival, after Soloviy's statement, several locals filed a report with the police for violating public order, including the use of obscene language in public places.
As a reminder, on July 25, the singer performed at the VydelkaFest music festival. The star addressed the audience from the stage, asking whether they liked the previous name of the city, Illichivsk. Later, the artist answered the question herself: "It's a bunch of bullshit". The obscene statement caused a wave of outrage on social media.
