Amanda, who works in psychiatry and is a mother of five, was introduced to Ty through friends. Ironically, their mutual acquaintances met the groom at a Sheeran concert. A year later, Jones was already down on one knee asking the woman to marry him.

At the wedding, the lyrics from the singer's song were even engraved on the cake, but the happy couple decided that they didn't want the whole ceremony to be associated with Ed Sheeran. Therefore, the first dance of the lovers took place to the hit of James Arthur. Unfortunately, the superstar singer was unable to attend their wedding in Manchester, but he sent a message to the heroes of the occasion saying that he had to decline their invitation because he was abroad.
