Ukrainian journalist and writer Yanina Sokolova told how singer and frontman of the band Okean Elzy Svyatoslav Vakarchuk got emotional during an interview. According to the activist, she and the musician used to be good friends, so the star was open with her during the conversation.

The blogger prepared a surprise for Vakarchuk that brought the singer to tears. Sokolova told Emma Antoniuk about it on the YouTube show "No One Will Watch This."

The journalist called the interview with the singer "very emotional." The fact is that on the eve of their meeting, the blogger learned that her relative's wife studied with Vakarchuk in the same class. "I recently saw our teacher, and she was just so proud of him and recalled such moments," the friend said. That's how Sokolova found out the number of the singer's teacher.

"And we were interviewing, I dialed the teacher," she said. According to her, Vakarchuk "instantly went from being a politician and a singer to just a child who got a call from a teacher." "And he just broke down, I think at that moment, and started crying," the journalist added.
