Ukraine has signed three new agreements with the Turkish company Baykar (which produces, among others, Bayraktar TB2 drones). They are expected to bring the country export revenues and a new generation of armor.

This was reported in Telegram by the Minister of Strategic Industry of Ukraine Alexander Kamyshyn. However, he did not disclose any details of the agreements.

"There is an important result - three new agreements with the Turkish manufacturer Baykar for Ukrainian manufacturers. I will not tell you the details, but I assure you that these contracts give our country export revenues and a new generation of weapons," the report says.

As is known, despite the war, Baykar continues to implement a plan to establish a scientific and production center in Ukraine. According to the company's general director, Haluk Bayraktar, the total area of Baykar's center in our country will amount to 30,000 sq. m, and the number of Ukrainian specialists, engineers and technicians will exceed 300 people.

Baykar will also produce drones. And we are talking not only about the Bayraktar TB2, but also, among other things:

  • Akıncı;
  • Kızılelma fighter aircraft.

It should be noted that Akıncı and Kızılelma use Ukrainian engines. We are talking about the MS-500 and AI-450.

As reported by OBOZREVATEL, earlier Turkish combat drone AKINCI with the Ukrainian engine hit the target at a distance of 140 kilometers. This test of firing a supersonic guided missile was the first in Turkish history.
