16 Russian spies were detained in Poland: they were looking for ways to destabilise the situation in the country

Poland's Internal Security Agency has already detained 16 people in the country who are linked to the intelligence of the aggressor country Russia. The intelligence services not only detected the spies but also found out the scheme they were operating under.
Stanisław Żaryn, Deputy Minister-Coordinator of Poland's intelligence services, said this on Polish Radio." He called the hacking of the spy network a success for his country's counterintelligence.
"The agency managed not only to detect and detain spies, but also to investigate and identify the modus operandi used by the Russians in this type of activity against Poland," explained Żaryn.
At the same time, he admitted that Polish counterintelligence cannot stop there.
"Our counter-intelligence manages to effectively find out how the Russians operate, and this is definitely a great success for our services. But, unfortunately, it is too early to rest on our laurels. The Russians are still looking for ways to destabilise and weaken Poland," the official said.
At the same time, the Polish Ministry of National Defence reported that additional military units would be sent to the Polish-Belarusian border to strengthen security.
