Satellite photos of the consequences of AFU's strike on Belbek airfield in Crimea appeared online

Satellite images of the Belbek airfield in occupied Sevastopol, showing the aftermath of the Ukrainian Defense Forces' strike, appeared online. The occupiers lost personnel and at least three aircraft there.

The photo was published by the DeepState analytical project on February 3. According to preliminary information, an enemy command post was hit.

"The losses in personnel will be known shortly with the first obituaries on the enemy's social media," the analysts said.

The day before, Yurii Ihnat, a spokesman for the Ukrainian Air Force Command, said that the occupiers had lost at least three aircraft and manpower as a result of the attack on the Belbek airfield. According to him, the best confirmation is satellite imagery, but "obituaries in Russian channels" are even better.

On the afternoon of January 31, a series of explosions occurred in Crimea. Russian media reported "dozens of missiles", and the network reported a fire in the area of the Belbek airfield.

The commander of the Ukrainian Air Force, Mykola Oleshchuk, thanked "everyone who joined the cleansing of Crimea from the Russian presence". Yurii Ihnat, in turn, said that although Russian facilities were attacked in Crimea, we should wait for intelligence confirmation or satellite images.

According to media reports, ten Russian servicemen were killed at the Belbek airfield. Among them was the squadron commander of a fighter regiment, Alexander Tatarenko.
