Russia launches missile attack on Mykolaiv

On the morning of September 29, the aggressor country of Russia launched a missile attack on Mykolaiv, causing a series of powerful explosions. The hit on an infrastructure facility on the outskirts of the city has already been confirmed.

This was reported by Mayor Oleksandr Senkevych. Before the attack, the Ukrainian Air Force warned of a threat to the region.

It should be noted that air alert has been declared twice in Mykolaiv region since the beginning of Friday. Before the second one, which lasted from 04:16 to 04:58, explosions were heard in the regional center.

"An explosion was heard in Mykolaiv for the third time," Suspilne correspondents reported at around 04:45.

Monitoring channels reported "two strong hits" in Mykolaiv at once. It was stated that the enemy allegedly used surface-to-surface ballistic missiles.

"Two Iskander-K missiles. Stay in shelters," Nikolaevskyi Vanek Telegram channel wrote.

In the morning, the city's mayor confirmed that Mykolaiv had been hit by a Russian missile strike at around 04:13 on Friday. A hit was recorded on an infrastructure facility on the outskirts.

"Dry grass caught fire there. It was extinguished at 06:45. Details are being clarified," Senkevych wrote.
