"You can't hide the truth": an aerial view of Mariupol destroyed by the Russian occupiers was shown online. Video.

Residential high-rise buildings turned into ghost houses

A new video of occupied Mariupol filmed from above has been posted online. The video shows the extent of the destruction of the Ukrainian city by the Russian invaders.

The advisor to the mayor of Mariupol, Petro Andriushchenko, posted the video on his Telegram channel. He noted that the invaders would not succeed in hiding the truth about their crimes with propaganda about the city's development (to watch the video, scroll down to the end).

"This is what our Mariupol looks like from above. You can't hide the truth behind a couple of new facades. Mariupol. A dead (killed) city by the Russians. Hold on, dear," the mayor's advisor wrote.

The video footage shows solid multi-story buildings destroyed by enemy shelling.

The Russian occupiers have turned Ukrainian Mariupol into a ghost town, although Kremlin propagandists cynically talk about active restoration and construction of new residential complexes on the ruins.

As OBOZREVATEL previously reported:

- The Russian occupiers in Mariupol force children to raise the Russian tricolor and listen to the anthem of the aggressor country. Children are also exposed to powerful propaganda.

- The Russian military started digging trenches along the Mariupol-Donetsk highway. Russian soldiers with shovels were spotted on several sections of the highway.

- The occupiers are moving equipment from Donetsk to Mariupol: tanks, trucks, and guns, and their movement was recorded on video.
