Ukrainian Armed Forces continue offensive near Bakhmut and in the west of Zaporizhzhia region, there is progress: ISW analysis of the hostilities

TheUkrainian defense forces have made some progress towards the railway north of Klishchiyivka (Donetsk region).The offensive operation of Ukrainian defenders in the west of Zaporizhzhya region is also continuing.
In particular, Ukrainian military observer Kostyantyn Mashovets said that the soldiers took advantage of recent Russian counterattacks to gradually advance near the village of Kopani (5 km northwest of Robotyno), east of Nesterianka (10 km northwest of Robotyno), and near Verbove (18 km southeast of Orikhiv). This was noted by the US Institute for the Study of War (ISW) in a report on October 15.
Analysts said that Ukrainian troops continued their offensive near Bakhmut, where they advanced on the southern flank, and in Zaporizhzhia region over the past day.
The gradual advance near the village of Klishchiyivka is evidenced by geolocated footage published on October 15.
Russian sources reported the continuation of ground attacks by Ukrainian troops south of Bakhmut on the Klishchiyivka-Kurdyumivka-Andriivka line.
On October 15, Russia also claimed that the Ukrainian Defense Forces continued shelling on the Robotyno-Novoprokopivka-Verbove line. Ukrainian officials have not yet disclosed details of the offensive in this area.
