Makeyev showed Leopard 1A5 tanks to be supplied to Ukraine

Ukraine's ambassador to Germany, Oleksiy Makeyev, showed Leopard 1A5 tanks that Berlin and its partners have promised to deliver to Ukraine. A total of 110 units of these armored vehicles are to be delivered.

Photo and video of the Leopard 1A5 appeared on Twitter of the Ukrainian diplomat. Makeyev added that they will be in Ukraine very soon.

"110 Leopard 1A5. Soon. The new German power," the Ukrainian ambassador to Germany wrote.

He also posted a photo of himself against the background of one of the German tanks and published a short video of the Leopard 1A5, which in the near future will help liberate the Ukrainian land from the Russian occupants.

On 11 February, it was reported that the Netherlands, together with Germany and Denmark, would transfer at least 100 Leopard 1A5 tanks to Ukraine.

In mid-April, Danish acting defense minister Troels Lund Poulsen said that the first Danish Leopard 1A5 tanks would soon be shipped to Ukraine. According to him, the first 20 cars should be transferred within three months (i.e., tentatively in April - early May, and another 40 - in the next six months).
