They eliminated 64 occupants and burned armoured vehicles: The 3rd Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine forced the Russians to flee from Bakhmut. Video.

The enemy suffered significant losses near Bakhmut

The owner of the Russian private military company Wagner, Yevgeny Prigozhin, said that the Russian army was fleeing the battlefield near Bakhmut. In particular, he said that the 72nd Separate Motorised Rifle Brigade of the Russian Armed Forces was fleeing. This information is true.

This was reported by the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Telegram (to watch the video, scroll to the end of the page). They also confirmed the words of Putin's "cook" about 500 corpses of Wagner mercenaries left lying on that section of the frontline.

The published footage shows the occupiers hastily leaving the frontline when they saw the tanks and infantry of the Ukrainian Defence Forces. Not all Russian invaders managed to leave the battlefield unharmed.

For example, during two days of attacks on the southwestern outskirts of Bakhmut, soldiers of the 3rd Separate Mechanised Brigade as part of the Azov Tactical Group killed 64 occupants and wounded 87 others. Among both categories are mercenaries of the Wagner PMC. The battle is currently ongoing, so the data on enemy losses are being updated. Five more Russians were captured by our attack aircraft.

"The destroyed Russian equipment deserves special attention. This includes several depots with enemy ammunition, mortars and more than one infantry fighting vehicle. The footage is impressive," the statement said.

Prigozhin, meanwhile, said that if the front line for the Russians collapses, the Ukrainian Armed Forces will allegedly reach Rostov, and Russia will lose this war.

As OBOZREVATEL previously reported:

- On May 7 and 8, Russian troops intensified their assaults on the positions of Ukrainian troops in Bakhmut, and the intensity of artillery shelling by the Russians increased. It is likely that the occupiers made some progress within the city.

- Russian occupants continue to suffer losses in the area of Bakhmut. Soldiers of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine showed how they struck an enemy firing position that the invaders had set up in a multi-storey building.
