President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked the United States for the next military aid package announced on Tuesday, 27 June. The head of state also pleased Ukrainians with news from the frontline. According to him, the Armed Forces are making progress in all areas.

The guarantor said this during his traditional evening address. Zelenskyy also mentioned the tragedy that happened exactly one year later, on the 489th day of the Russian war, in Ukraine (to watch the video, scroll to the bottom of the page).

"Exactly on the anniversary of the Russian terrorists' attack on Kremenchuk, on the shopping centre, when 22 people were killed, Russian inhumans again sent missiles at the Kremenchuk district. Today, Russian terrorists brutally shelled Kramatorsk as well... Each such act of terror proves over and over again to us and to the whole world that Russia deserves only one thing as a result of all it has done - defeat and a tribunal, fair and lawful trials against all Russian murderers and terrorists. And I thank again and again everyone in the world who supports Ukraine and helps protect our people!" the President said.

He stressed that all the victims are being provided with assistance and expressed gratitude to the allies for their support in countering Russian aggression.

"Today we have a new defence package from the United States for our soldiers: armoured vehicles, ammunition for Patriots, Stingers, Hymars, additional shells for our artillery. I thank Mr President Biden, the Congress - both parties, all Americans!" - Zelenskyy said.

The Head of State informed that today he had a conversation with the Prime Minister of Norway and thanked him for the support provided to Ukraine - defence, economic, political.

"Very significant! I informed him about my yesterday's trip to the frontline to see our soldiers, about our current defence capabilities. I voiced some of our armed needs. We also discussed the creation of a fighter jet coalition. A separate topic was the upcoming NATO summit in Vilnius. I thank Norway for their understanding!" - Zelenskyy said.

The President also added that he had held a special meeting with international experts: "The Office, the government - on preparations for the Vilnius Summit. I am confident that the decisions of the summit can be positive for Ukraine! We are doing everything possible for this and have engaged all the international capabilities of Ukraine."

Zelenskyy said that at the front, Ukrainian defenders had achieved important results in repelling enemy attacks by the criminal army of the aggressor country Russia.

"The frontline. Our heroes, our active actions. Today we are also moving forward in all areas where we are conducting offensive operations. We have important results in repelling Russian assaults. Thank you, soldiers! Today, I would like to pay special tribute to the famous 3rd separate assault brigade, the strong 28th separate mechanised brigade, the heroic 54th separate mechanised brigade and the cool 57th separate motorised infantry brigade. Thank you all, warriors! Well done!" - Zelenskyy added.

He traditionally thanked each hero for each destroyed Russian war criminal.

"Thank you for every occupier destroyed and every Ukrainian life saved! Glory to our heroes! Thank you to everyone in the world who is not afraid of Russian terrorists and is working with us to return security to the world! Glory to Ukraine!" - the President summed up.
