The Ukrainian Armed Forces are counterattacking in four areas of the front, and the Kremlin has increased mobilization - ISW

The Ukrainian Armed Forces are counterattacking in four areas of the front

During June 17, Ukrainian forces continued counteroffensives in at least four areas of the front. The most intense fighting continued in the east of our country.

Deputy Defense Minister Anna Malyar stated that Ukrainian forces continue counteroffensive operations near Bakhmut, while the Russian occupiers claimed to have attacked the northern and southern outskirts of Bakhmut. This is stated in an analysis by the Institute for the Study of War.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces continued counteroffensive operations south, southwest and southeast of Velyka Novoselka near the administrative border between the western part of Donetsk and eastern part of Zaporizhzhya regions. Ukraine's defenders also conducted counteroffensive operations to the southwest and southeast of Orekhov in the west of Zaporizhzhya region.

The Ukrainian Defense Ministry stressed that as a result of intensive fighting, Ukrainian forces advanced up to two kilometers in several directions in the south of the country.

In turn, the terrorist state Russia continues its efforts to gradually mobilize the defense-industrial complex. Analysts pointed out that on June 17, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu visited a military-industrial complex in the Omsk region that produces tanks and thermobaric artillery systems.

Shoigu boasted that the facility's output had allegedly increased significantly in the past few months, and Major General Alexander Shestakov, head of the main armored vehicle department of the Defense Ministry, stated that "all armored vehicles have been upgraded to meet security requirements."

It is noteworthy that the terrorist country of Russia continues to rely heavily on sanctions evasion to acquire critical components for missiles. The Russian military does not have the ability to produce the semiconductors, chips and processors needed for missiles, but can still produce missiles by obtaining these components from "friendly" countries.

Earlier it was reported that the Ukrainian Defense Forces are conducting both offensive and defensive operations at the front and are having partial success. While the enemy has an air and artillery advantage, none of our positions have been lost and the enemy has not been able to advance.

As a reminder, the Armed Forces of Ukraine admit that the Russian terrorist army can arrange new man-made disasters on the territory of our country. To do this, the enemy can use special explosive teams.

As reported OBOZREVATEL, since the beginning of a full-scale war in Ukraine, the Russian occupation army has already lost 219.1 thousand people killed.Only for a day on June 16 Ukrainian servicemen "demilitarized" about 670 occupants.
