On the night of May 3, Russian terrorist forces launched another drone attack on Ukraine. Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed 21 of the 26 enemy UAVs.

This was reported on the Facebook of the Air Force of the AFU. Air defenses went off in a number of cities in Ukraine. In particular, explosions were heard in Kyiv, Zaporizhzhya, Cherkasy region, Kropivnitskiy and Dnipro.

It is noted that the enemy launched UAV strikes from the north (Bryansk Region) and from the south - the eastern coast of the Sea of Azov.

Situation in Kiev and the region

Kyiv City Military Administration reported that all enemy targets were detected and shot down in the airspace around Kiev. The night attack on the Ukrainian capital was the third in the last six days.

"Operational summary data as of now - no casualties or destruction. The information is being clarified," said KCMA chief Sergey Popko and expressed his gratitude to the Ukrainian air defense forces for their professionalism and excellent service.

Consequences of the attack in Dnipro

Sky defenders from Voskhod Air Command destroyed 7 enemy UAVs, but one managed to reach its target - the strike damaged the administration building in Dnipro where a fire broke out, which had already been extinguished by morning.

"Residents of the city were not hurt. Rescuers are still working at the site. The consequences of the attack are being clarified," stressed the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration (RSA) Sergey Lysak.

Consequences of the enemy attack in Kropivnitsky

In Kropivnitsky, three enemy UAVs hit an oil depot located in the regional center. There were no casualties as a result of the enemy attack, the chairman of the Kirovohrad regional military administration, Andriy Raikovych, said.

"Around 3 a.m., at once 3 Geran-2 shaheeds attacked an oil depot in the regional center. There were no casualties. All services responded promptly. Elimination of the consequences began immediately. The information about the damage is being clarified," he said.

Consequences of the drone attack in Mykolayiv region

One of the kamikaze drones hit a private house in Kutsuruba community of Mykolaiv region. The attack resulted in a fire at the scene. The fire was quickly extinguished by a subdivision of the State Emergencies Service of Ukraine in Mykolaiv region. There were no civilian casualties as a result of the enemy attack.

The second Shahed, launched by Russian terrorists on the territory of the Mykolaiv region, was destroyed by the defense forces.

Recall: in the morning of May 1, Russia launched another missile attack on Ukraine. During the air alert around 04:50, the first explosions occurred in Kyiv: sky defenders shot down 11 Russian missiles and two drones.

The capital's subway went into shelter mode: residents descended into the subway to hide during the air raid. The latter lasted for 2 hours and 49 minutes until lights out at 7:30 a.m.

According to monitoring sources, the aggressor country launched X-101/555 missiles from several Tu-95ms strategic missile carriers.

In addition, on May 2, explosions broke out in Zaporizhzhia, and the occupiers also shelled Kherson and the region. The invaders dropped guided aerial bombs on civilians in the de-occupied part of the region.
