Thanks to the ICEYE "People's Satellite", which was donated by Ukrainians, thousands of enemy vehicles were destroyed – Main Directorate of Intelligence of Ukraine

The ICEYE satellite, which was purchased with donations from Ukrainians, helped to detect and destroy thousands of enemy vehicles. During the five months of using the spacecraft, Ukraine's military intelligence conducted radar reconnaissance of almost 1,000 areas where the occupying forces were located.

The Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine reported on it on March 9. As noted, Ukrainian intelligence officers began using the "People's Satellite" on September 24, 2022 - since then, the country's defenders have been receiving the necessary intelligence from space every day (photos are posted at the bottom of the news).

In particular, the ICEYE resource helped to detect 360 tents in the locations of Russian troops, as well as 7,321 objects of enemy military and special equipment, including

- 45 aircraft;

- 27 helicopters;

- 6 Iskander short-range ballistic missile systems

- 36 S-300 surface-to-air missile systems;

- 12 "Pantsir S1" anti-aircraft artillery systems

- 11 radar stations;

- 10 pontoon crossings.

Thanks to ICEYE, a significant part of this list was destroyed and reflected in the daily reports of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Main Directorate of Intelligence said.

The military intelligence also thanked all Ukrainians who contributed to the fundraising for the satellite.

"Such eyes allow us to detect and burn camouflaged Russian military equipment, weapons and personnel around the clock and in any weather," the agency noted.
