Russia carried out the seventh air attack on Kyiv since the beginning of May: Ukrainian air defense system worked to the best of its ability

On the night of May 14, the terrorist Russian state launched its seventh air attack on the Ukrainian capital since the beginning of May. All spy drones launched at Kyiv were destroyed by air defense forces.

This was reported by the head of KMBA Sergey Popko. According to him, the UAVs moving in the direction of the capital, probably to identify air defense positions, were liquidated on the far approaches.

"After midnight there was an airborne alert associated with an attack of probably cruise missiles launched from strategic bombers from the Caspian direction! But no such cruise missiles were detected in the airspace around the capital. According to preliminary data, there is no destruction or injury in the city," Popko added.

Recall: On Sunday night, the Russian Federation launched a new missile attack on Ukraine. Explosions were heard in Ternopil - an arrival in an industrial zone was recorded there, and a non-residential building caught fire. As a result of the attack, two civilians, employees of the company, were injured. Preliminarily they received shrapnel wounds and burns. The injured are in hospital facilities.

There were also explosions in the Novobavarsky district of Kharkiv. According to preliminary information, the city was under fire from S-300 MLRS.

- On May 13 attacked from the air Khmelnitschina - a series of explosions sounded in the region, and there is a flight on critical infrastructure. As a result of the actions of the aggressor up to 30 people were injured, in the regional center damaged residential houses, industrial, medical, and educational institutions;

- Also on May 13, the Russians hit Kostyantynivka, Donetsk region, with a Smerch MLRS. Multistory buildings and private houses, a gas station, a pharmacy, and stores came under enemy fire.
