On the night of June 26, the Russian terrorist army staged a new attack on Ukraine with UAV strikes and Kalibr cruise missiles. Air defense forces destroyed 13 enemy aerial targets, but there is an arrival in the Odessa region - tentatively, without casualties.

Explosions during the air alert were heard in Poltava region, Kyiv region, Mykolaiv region, Odessa region and Cherkasy region due to the air defense work.The attack was reported in the Telegram channel of the Command of the Air Force of the AFU, urging residents of the regions to stay in shelters.

First, the head of the Cherkasy regional military administration, Igor Taburets, warned the residents of the region about the increased danger. And after 02:00, the OC South reported that the enemy was attacking the Odessa region.

"There is combat work going on, air defenses are working, in particular over the city," the military noted.

They urged the residents of the region to stay in shelters and do not remove the air defenses.

According to Telegram channels, the occupiers launched Kalibrs at the region from the Black Sea.

"In the Odessa region the air defense system went off. We will report the results of the combat work later," the Air Force noted.

In addition, during the air alert in the north of Kyiv region air defense allegedly worked on an unidentified UAV.

In the morning, Natalia Gumenyuk, head of the joint press center of the Southern Operational Command, noted that the enemy attacked the Odessa region specifically with Kalibrs and Shaheds. According to her, at least two Russian cruise missiles were destroyed on approach from the sea to the coastal area. At the same time, air defense forces worked powerfully on the drones, as a result of the repulsion of the attack in some houses blew out the windows, but fortunately no one was injured.

"The work of the air defense system was complicated by weather conditions. There was an extremely strong storm over the sea, and the thunderstorm that reigned all night made the overall visual effect and work very difficult," Gumenyuk explained on the telethon.

According to the AFU Air Force, sky defenders shot down two Kalibr cruise missiles, seven Shahed strike drones and another four UAVs of unspecified type during that night attack. In particular, three strike drones were destroyed over the Mykolaiv region, and four more were destroyed over the Odessa region.

"Virtually everything was destroyed, except for one missile and one Shahed, which hit certain objects in the Odessa region. Preliminarily, there without casualties," added the speaker of the Air Force Yuri Ignat.

It is known that we are talking about hitting a Russian missile in a storage facility in the Odessa region. Also as a result of the hit the wreckage of the drone fell on the open territory, and the blast waves shattered windows in apartment buildings in the coastal area. There were no reports of casualties.

As a reminder: the day before, the occupants committed a new war crime in the Kherson region by shelling Antonivka and Burgunka. The attack injured three people, including a pregnant woman who is being treated by medics to prevent premature birth.

In addition, the occupiers struck Kozatske and Vesele with air bombs. Fortunately, there were no casualties there.

Also on June 25, the Nikopol district of the Dnepropetrovsk region came under enemy fire. As a result of the criminal actions of the Russians, a civilian was wounded and houses were damaged.
