The occupiers have once again shelled the settlements of Huliaipole in Zaporizhzhia Oblast and New York in Donetsk Oblast. This time, the enemy struck at the civilian sector.
The attack on Huliaipole was reported by the head of the Zaporizhzhya Regional Military Administration Yuriy Malashko. As a result of the Russian terrorist attack, two people were wounded and residential buildings and outbuildings were destroyed.
Doctors are currently treating two women who were pulled from the rubble. Specialists are working to eliminate the consequences of the attack.
"The enemy hit the civilian sector with artillery: residential buildings and outbuildings were destroyed. Currently, two women aged 47 and 62, who were pulled out from under the rubble, are receiving medical assistance," said Malashko.
Also on that day, the occupiers dropped a FAB-250 bomb on New York in the Donetsk region, wounding one person, the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration Pavlo Kyrylenko said on Telegram.
"The town was hit this morning - three high-rise buildings, a nursery, an outpatient clinic, a cinema and a gym were damaged," the official said.
Earlier it was reported that on May 26, the occupiers attacked Dnipro with missiles for the second time in a day. In the morning, they hit a medical facility in the city, where a fire broke out, killing one person and injuring 25 others.
Footage of the first minutes after Russia's strike on the hospital in Dnipro was also posted online. They show people screaming and ambulance sirens, with smoke rising around them. The people in the footage are worried and trying to help the wounded.
As a reminder, on the night of May 26, Russian occupation forces again attacked Ukrainian cities from the sky, launching cruise missiles and drones. The air defence forces neutralised most of them, but there were some hits in the Dnipro and Kharkiv regions.
