On the night of June 16, Russian Federation troops shelled the village of Novoberyslav on the right bank of the de-occupied Kherson region. On Friday morning, the enemy attacked the town of Orikhiv in Zaporizhzhia. At least two civilians were killed and one person was wounded in these settlements.
The head of the Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, reported the tragedy in Kherson region on his Telegram channel. According to him, people were killed in Novoberyslav. The victims of the Russian war crime are a married couple.
The aggressor country's military personnel fired rocket and cannon artillery at the village on the Dnipro riverbank.
"The enemy was targeting residential buildings. A couple was killed as a result of a hit to one of the houses," Prokudin wrote.
The woman's life ended at the scene of the incident. The man was treated by medics, but his injuries were too severe. He also died on the way to the hospital.
The enemy attacked the town of Orikhiv in the morning of June 16. A local resident, aged 55, was wounded.
According to a Telegram post by the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Yuriy Malashko, the victim was promptly taken to a medical facility.
In total, Russian troops shelled Zaporizhzhia region 71 times over the past day. 14 settlements were damaged, and there were 24 reports of destruction of housing and property.
