"It's not clear what we're fighting for": Russian civilians discuss the progress of the "SVO". Intercept
Residents of the aggressor country of Russia are slowly beginning to realize that the bloody Kremlin government has openly misled them with its full-scale invasion of Ukraine. People in Russia do not see the point of the "SVO" (special military operation).
This is evidenced by an audio interception of a conversation between a Russian woman. The recording was posted on Telegram by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine (scroll to the bottom of the page to listen to the audio).
Russian civilians do not understand what Russia is fighting for in Ukraine. And they do not hide it.
"I am far from all this, from this politics... I just don't understand what they want. The state could at least tell us what they want... Even if we fought for something during the Great Patriotic War, it's not clear what we're fighting for here. Well, what do they want? To take Ukraine completely? To set some kind of goal?" the Russian resident said.
She emphasized that Ukraine is supported by the whole world and that Russia has very little chance of winning.
"Is it okay that America is now allocating so much money to supply Ukraine with weapons? It's very tough, and they are going to continue to supply... And you don't understand what's going on. "We want this, we want that...". Well, you either recruit people, change them or try somehow..." the woman added.
In the end, she said that she sees no way out of this war.
"It would be delusional to turn around and say, 'Guys, that's it, we're done,'" the Russian woman said, referring to her country's authorities.
As OBOZREVATEL previously reported, in another intercepted conversation, the Russian military complained that dissatisfaction with command and equipment was increasingly brewing among the occupiers. Commanders are not coping with sabotage.
