Budanov called Putin a "legitimate target" for Ukraine and answered whether there were attempts to eliminate him

After all the crimes of the Kremlin dictator's army in Ukraine, the liquidation of Vladimir Putin is the dream of most Ukrainians. Thus, the intelligence service answered whether the head of the Kremlin can be considered a legitimate target for Ukraine and whether there have already been attempts on the part of our state to liquidate him.

This was told by the head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence Kyrylo Budanov during an interview on Youtube channel "ISLND TV". Thus, Budanov noted that the president of a hostile state is a legitimate target for Ukraine.

At the same time, the head of the GUR said that he saw no point in attempting to assassinate the Kremlin dictator. Yes, Budanov considers the elimination of Putin theoretically possible, but he sees no expediency in committing it.

"Of course (Putin is a legitimate whole for Ukraine. - Ed.). But, is Ukraine making an attempt to destroy him? No, it does not. Is there an objective possibility? This is a difficult question. It is purely theoretical. Is it real to destroy some person. Is it real ? Real," noted Budanov.

Actually, the reason why the elimination of Putin is not mandatory or a priority has not been explained.

However, we can assume that it is about the fact that Russia has been waging a war against Ukraine for a long time, and the problem is not limited to one person, such as the current Kremlin leader.

Earlier, the head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence, Kyrylo Budanov, stated that the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, has problems with banned substances. Thus, according to him, Kadyrov is a drug addict.

As a reminder, Budanov stated that Ukraine's goal in the question of ending the war is to create a demilitarized zone with the terrorist state of Russia. It should have a length of at least 100 km.
