The former captain of the Ukrainian national football team, Anatoliy Tymoshchuk, is trying to obtain a Romanian passport. The traitor is trying to circumvent the sanctions imposed on him by the National Security and Defence Council (NSDC) after the current Zenit coach supported Russia's military aggression.

This was reported by TSN in its "United News" marathon. Journalists of the media outlet received evidence from several sources that Tymoshchuk allegedly submitted a package of documents to the Romanian migration service in which he tries to prove that his grandmother was born in 1929 in Romania. However, there is no such relative of the ex-footballer in the Ukrainian registers.

The UAF punished Tymoshchuk.

"What Romanians, come on! His grandmother lives in the apartment above Tolik's parents. Before that, she lived in Novovolynsk because her grandfather was a miner. Everyone is from Volyn," commented Anatolii's ex-wife Nadiia Navrotska.

It is not yet known what decision the Romanian authorities have made, but under Ukrainian law, Tymoshchuk faces a prison sentence for forgery.

Anatoliy refused to condemn Russia for the attack on Ukraine and only managed to squeeze out a small Instagram story in which he simply called for peace.

In turn, Ukrainian soldiers wiped their feet on Anatoliy's T-shirt. And on Tymoshchuk's birthday, the Lutsk City Council stripped the former Ukraine national team player of the title of "Honorary Citizen of the City".

The UAF has stripped Anatoliy Tymoshchuk of all sports awards and titles, and removed him from the official registers of national teams because of his tacit support for the criminal actions of Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin in Ukraine.

As OBOZREVATEL previously reported, Anatoliy Tymoshchuk decided to sue Ukraine after being sanctioned by the National Security and Defence Council. Prior to that, documents appeared on the Internet showing that Anatoliy was recruited by the Russian FSB.
