Ministry of Defence trolled the occupiers through Storm Shadow and hinted at "cotton" in Sevastopol Bay

Defence Ministry publishes photo of Zelenskyy and Sunak

The Ministry of Defence of Ukraine trolled the Russian occupiers over the long-range Storm Shadow cruise missiles that were handed over to Kyiv by the UK. They hinted at possible "targets" in the Sevastopol Bay.

In particular, it is expected that the "cotton" will visit enemy ships with Kalibr missiles. A corresponding message was posted on the ministry's Twitter account.

The Ministry of Defence posted a picture of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak laughing mysteriously.

"The moment when you realise that the distance from the front line to the warships with Kalibr missiles in Sevastopol Bay is 298 km 700 m," the ministry captioned the photo.

It is worth noting that on May 11, it became known that the United Kingdom had provided Ukraine with several long-range Storm Shadow cruise missiles. Ukraine's defence forces have received a new long-range strike capability ahead of the long-awaited counter-offensive against Russian troops. These missiles have a range of about 560 km, but the export version of the missile is capable of hitting targets up to 300 km away.

As OBOZREVATEL previously reported, Russia reacted to the delivery of Storm Shadow and said it had a "negative" attitude to such military assistance. They also traditionally threatened an "adequate response".
