"Ukraine is getting stronger on the ground, in the air and at sea": Zelenskyy tells about a week of international work. Video.

Zelenskyy spoke about meetings with partners during the working week

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy spoke about the week of international work, during which a number of productive meetings and negotiations with foreign partners took place. They discussed, among other things, military assistance to our country.

Zelenskyy said this in his evening address on Friday, May 5 (to watch the video, scroll to the bottom of the page). He noted that the government and diplomats had maintained the pace and strength of international work over the past five days, which had helped Ukraine achieve the results it needed this week.

"So, in a week: The United States and Bahrain, the Netherlands and Belgium, Finland and Sweden, Norway and Denmark, Iceland. Canada. New Zealand. The African Union and the Comoros. And the entire multinational community of United24 donors and partners. We do our best to make the world hear Ukraine, understand Ukraine and help Ukraine. Because by helping us, the world protects itself," the President said.

The Guarantor noted that the meetings in Helsinki and The Hague resulted in a powerful reinforcement for our soldiers with weapons - on the ground, in the air and at sea. "I am grateful to our partners! This is a significant reinforcement. We have more progress in terms of NATO and the European Union. We have more progress in holding Russia accountable for its aggression against our country," Zelenskyy said.

On Friday, after returning from the Netherlands, he met with the Bahraini Foreign Minister. They talked about how to bring peace to Ukraine and restore calm and stability to international relations.

"I thanked them for their continued support of Ukraine and civilised rules, including support at the UN. We talked about the Ukrainian formula for peace, and I believe that Bahrain can join its implementation," the Head of State noted.

Also today, a summit was held to mark the anniversary of the state charity platform United24. It has collected donations from various people and companies from 110 countries. Ukraine is supported by 15 celebrity ambassadors.

The platform has done a lot of work for the fleet of marine drones and implemented projects related to drones for the frontline. We are talking about thousands of UAVs.

"Much has been done within the United24 medical area, and there are results in the area of recovery. Now we are adding an educational area - the restoration of schools and demining. This is a big task that Ukraine is facing, and it can be implemented not in decades, but in years, if there is sufficient global support. Not a single Russian mine should remain in our land!" - the President stressed.

He also met with representatives of the Venice Commission and the BlackRock investment fund.

On Friday evening, Zelenskyy met with a delegation from the United States Congress. They discussed further cooperation between the two countries for the sake of global freedom.

"Now, when we are fighting against tyranny side by side with America, we have reached a level of interaction that has never been seen before between Ukraine and the United States. But this is not the limit. We will continue to develop our cooperation - our true alliance. And I thank everyone who helps! I thank President Biden for his leadership. I thank both parties and the Houses of Congress for their continued support. I thank all Americans whose desire for freedom, together with Ukrainian aspirations, together with all our allies and partners, protects global democracy," Zelenskyy said.

As OBOZREVATEL previously reported, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy showed the war in Ukraine without filters. The President stressed that the world should see the truth.
