Russia complains about drone attack on Moscow region

On July 11, the aggressor country of Russia announced that it had "repelled an attack" by drones. In particular, they say that a lone drone was allegedly flying to hit their capital.

The Russians posted photos and videos of a small "pop" in the sky. The mayor of Moscow also commented on the alleged attack.

According to propagandists, the events unfolded in the Stupinsky district of Moscow region: "it thundered" around 04:40 near the village of Mikhnevo.

"After two 'pops', the windows shook and the cars started to rumble," Russians complained.

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin claimed that it was Russian air defense that "repelled the attack of a drone flying towards Moscow."

He previously indicated that there was "no damage and no injuries" at the crash site.

The aggressor country's Ministry of Defense also immediately reported with the standard phrase about "the termination of a number of attempts by the Kyiv regime to carry out attacks." It reported the "destruction and interception" of allegedly five UAVs over the Bryansk, Tambov, Tula, and Moscow regions.

It is noteworthy that a few days ago, when several drones attacked an oil depot and other facilities in the Volgograd region of the Russian Federation, and a strong fire burned there for a long time, the Russian agency did not mention this in any way.

As OBOZ.UA reported, the previous night, Russians complained about an attack by a flock of drones in Rostov-on-Don. Residents of the aggressor country claimed that they were frightened by the sounds of explosions and bright flashes "from the work of Russian air defense."
