How to make bread croutons for salads: we share the exact recipe
Croutons are often added to salads and are best made at home with fresh bread. For a bright flavor, you can add spices and oil.
The cook shared on Instagram a recipe for very crispy and tasty homemade croutons that are cooked in the oven.
Ingredients:
- 3 tbsp. oil
- a pinch of salt
- favorite spices (paprika, oregano, pepper or something special)
- oil
- bread
Method of preparation:
1. Cut the bread into cubes, dry in the oven.
2. Take the dried bread out of the oven and place it in a large bowl. Pour the prepared oil and spice dressing over the bread and mix well. To make sure that the flavor is accurately absorbed into each piece, additionally mix the croutons in the bowl with the remaining sauce.
3. Put the croutons back on the baking sheet, spread them evenly and bake for another 15 minutes at 170°C. Check from time to time to make sure they don't burn.
