Homemade cutlets can be made from meat, liver, legumes, mushrooms, and crab sticks. Tuna and sardines are also very tasty.
The cook shared on Instagram a recipe for delicious, hearty cutlets with mashed potatoes, sardines, and breadcrumbs.
Ingredients:
- sardines in tomato (can be in oil) – 2 c.
- mashed potatoes – 800 g
- egg – 1 pc.
- onion – 1 pc.
- flour – 100-200 g
- salt, pepper – to taste
- breadcrumbs
- vegetable oil
Method of preparation:
1. Mashed potatoes should not be liquid, well chilled, it is better to take yesterday's.
2. Mash the sardine with a fork until smooth. Add the mashed sardines and mix until smooth and lump-free. Add the grated onion, egg, salt, pepper, and spices to taste and mix.
3. Add the flour, but not all at once, but keep an eye on the mass so as not to add too much, mix.
4. Form cutlets, roll in breadcrumbs, and fry in vegetable oil on both sides.
It will be delicious with any side dish!
