Beetroot is a very valuable and tasty vegetable that can be the basis for salads, appetizers, and first courses. It is better to bake beets for salads rather than boil them.

A delicious and healthy salad

The chef shared a recipe for a delicious beetroot salad with cheese, herbs, and nuts on Instagram.

Recipe of the dish

Ingredients:

  • 170 g of boiled beetroot
  • 100 g of cheese
  • 40 g pecans (not raw)
  • 70 g of leafy greens

For the dressing:

  • 2 tsp of honey, 2 tsp of olive oil, 2 tsp of mustard seeds

Method of preparation:

1. Bake the beets in foil for 40-60 minutes at 200-220C, until tender. Let cool and cut into cubes.

2. Put the leafy greens on a plate first, then the beets, nuts, and Dorblu cheese slices.

3. Dressing: mix liquid honey, olive oil, and mustard seeds. Pour over the salad and serve immediately.
