Shortbread cookies are usually prepared quickly and easily. However, to make them even more delicious, stuff them with jam.
A food blogger with the nickname Valway ka shared how to do it properly on Instagram. Just a few minutes and simple ingredients and you will be delighted with the result.
Ingredients
- egg - 1 pc
- sugar - 2 tbsp
- vanilla sugar - 1 tsp
- sour cream/yogurt - 2 tbsp
- vegetable oil - 2 tbsp
- cornstarch - 2 tbsp
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- flour - 1 tbsp
Ingredients for filling
- jam + coconut shavings
Preparation method
1. Grind eggs with sugar.
2. Add sour cream and vegetable oil. Stir.
3. Add the dry ingredients and knead the dough.
4. Mix jam and coconut shavings for the filling.
5. Roll out the dough into a thin layer. Cut off some, place the filling on top, and make a long stripe.
6. Roll up, cut into pieces, and repeat the previous step again.
7. Bake at 180 degrees until golden.
