China's new MG crossover is more expensive than some affordable rivals

The Chinese company MG with the name of the classic British brand has fully declassified the new HS 2nd generation crossover. It was supposed to be cheap - like all Chinese cars. But it turned out to be more expensive than some rivals.

The new MG HS 2024 will compete with the Toyota RAV4 and other similar models. MG cars are sold in Ukraine, such a novelty would fit the local model lineup. Details about the car were revealed on the official website.

MG HS 2024 crossover looks unusual and almost does not resemble other models of the brand. But it reminds many Chinese cars - the geographical belonging of the manufacturer can be determined unmistakably.

From the front, the Chinese crossover MG HS 2024 model year has changed completely and received a completely different "face". Now the design of the model corresponds to a more spectacular direction.

The front grille became larger and changed its shape, there are new headlights, front and rear bumpers, replaced the lights. There is now a completely different silhouette. In fact, the car is a copy of the Chinese crossover Roewe RX5 with changed details. That is, the designers have done a rather lazy job.

The new MG HS will go on sale with a gasoline 1.5-liter motor (169 hp) and a hybrid powertrain. The price of MG HS 2024 was surprisingly high for a Chinese car - from 32,000 dollars.
