Ingredients for the cream:
- sugar - 120 g
- vanilla sugar - 12 g
- corn starch - 55 g
- eggs - 2 pcs
- milk - 500 ml
- butter at room temperature - 100 g
Ingredients for the layers:
- milk - 70 ml
- water - 70 ml
- butter - 60 g
- sugar - 1 tsp
- a pinch of salt
- flour - 100 g
- medium eggs at room temperature - 3 pcs
The method of preparation of the cream:
1. Combine sugar, vanilla sugar and starch.
2. Add eggs, mix and put on low heat.
3. Cook until thickened, stirring all the time.
4. Then cover with foil and cool to room temperature.
5. For the cakes, combine milk, water and butter in a saucepan.
6. Bring to a boil and add flour.
7. Knead well for a minute.
8. Cool the dough and add 3 eggs at room temperature one by one.
9. Put onto two baking sheets and bake at 180 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
10. Beat cream and butter at room temperature with a mixer.
11. Grease each layer with cream.
12. Cover with foil and refrigerate overnight.
